Description
Reliable TPMS Communication for Longer Vehicles and Caravans
When towing a caravan, horse float or larger trailer, the increased distance between your tyre sensors and the TPMS monitor can sometimes affect signal reliability. The iCheck TPMS Signal Booster is designed to strengthen communication between compatible iCheckTPMS wheel sensors and your monitor, making it a practical addition for longer vehicle and towing combinations.
The standard iCheckTPMS monitoring range is approximately 7–8 metres. For setups exceeding this distance, or vehicles where electronic interference may affect the signal, adding a signal booster can help maintain more reliable communication between your sensors and monitor.
Ideal for Caravans and Longer Towing Setups
The signal booster is particularly useful when your rear wheel sensors are positioned a significant distance from the monitor in your tow vehicle.
For most caravan installations, the booster should be positioned somewhere between the rearmost wheels and the TPMS monitor. The front section of the caravan or front tunnel boot will generally provide a suitable central location.
Once powered, the booster automatically connects with the compatible wheel sensors and monitor. There is no separate pairing process required, making setup straightforward.

When Do I Need an iCheck TPMS Signal Booster?
You may benefit from installing a signal booster if your TPMS monitor occasionally loses communication with sensors positioned towards the rear of your caravan or trailer.
It is particularly worth considering when:
- Your vehicle and towing combination exceeds approximately 8 metres between the monitor and rearmost sensors
- You are towing a large caravan or trailer
- Your vehicle has electronic equipment that may cause signal interference
- Sensor readings from the rear wheels are inconsistent
- You want to improve signal reliability across a longer towing setup
The booster does not replace your iCheckTPMS system. Instead, it helps strengthen communication between compatible components when distance or interference becomes an issue.
Simple Installation
The iCheck TPMS Signal Booster is designed for straightforward installation. Depending on the supplied configuration, it can be powered within the caravan, with the front section of the caravan generally providing an effective position between the monitor and rear wheel sensors.
For a hardwired installation, the unit operates from a 12–24V vehicle power supply and requires connection to positive and negative power.
Once powered, there is no complicated programming or sensor pairing required.
Built for Touring Conditions
Caravans and touring vehicles can encounter dust, rain and changing road conditions. The signal booster carries an IP67 rating, providing protection against water and dust and making it well suited to caravan and touring applications.
Whether you’re preparing for highway touring, extended caravan trips or off-road travel, reliable communication between your tyre sensors and monitor helps you get the most from your iCheckTPMS setup.
Compatibility
Important: Before ordering, check the underside of your existing iCheckTPMS monitor.
The iCheck TPMS Signal Booster is compatible only with monitors marked “NEXTGEN”.
If your monitor does not display NEXTGEN underneath, please contact ParkPro before purchasing to confirm your options.
Complete Your iCheckTPMS Setup
A reliable tyre pressure monitoring system gives you valuable information about what’s happening at each monitored tyre. For longer caravans and towing combinations, the iCheck TPMS Signal Booster helps ensure that information can reliably reach your monitor.
Pair it with a compatible iCheck Tyre Pressure Monitoring System for greater confidence when towing, touring and travelling across Australia.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the iCheck TPMS Signal Booster need to be paired with my sensors?
No. Once powered, the booster automatically communicates with the compatible wheel sensors and monitor. No separate pairing procedure is required.
Where should I install the signal booster?
Ideally, position it between the rearmost wheel sensors and the monitor. For caravan applications, the front of the caravan or front tunnel boot is generally a suitable location.
What voltage does the booster require?
The signal booster operates from a 12–24V power supply.
Is the signal booster waterproof?
The unit is IP67 rated for protection against water and dust.
Do all iCheckTPMS monitors work with this booster?
No. Your existing monitor must be marked NEXTGEN underneath for compatibility.
Do I need a signal booster for every iCheckTPMS system?
Not necessarily. Standard iCheckTPMS systems have an approximate monitoring range of 7–8 metres. A booster is particularly useful for longer setups or where electronic interference affects communication.
